Cynwyl Elfed Parish is a rural Community in the County of Carmarthenshire . It is located about 11 miles West of Carmarthen Town and approximately six miles South East of Newcastle Emlyn. The community includes the villages of Blaen y Coed, Bryn Iwan, Cwmduad, Cynwyl Elfed and Hermon.
